"Thank you for providing the perfect venue, food and hospitality for my wives 30th birthday party last Saturday. We all had a great night, my wife most of all. It was also our first night out since the birth of our daughter which made it extra special.

"We booked this restaurant on-line on the strength of it's menu, and to be fair we would not have booked it if we had seen it first because it looks so ordinary. However, we would have missed out on a great place. From the moment we walked through the door we were welcomed like old friends, and were treated that way all through our meal. All the staff are very polite, friendly and attentive but definitely not intrusive. The food is lovely - typically Greek but top quality. Every piece of meat was really tender and well served: the calamari was the best I had eaten. I didn't have dessert, but fortunately my husband did and he let me taste the Amaretto cheesecake (not Greek I know) that he had ordered, it was fantastic, so light and absolutely delicious. I would definitely go there again if I was in Weston Super Mare."

The food is very well cooked and tasty and a good price, wine is excellent but it is the ambience that sets Demetris Taverna apart from the rest. "When I turned 50 this year the best place to spend the evening was with my friends in Demetri's restaurant.I had 55 people at my party. The food was outstanding, not that I would expect anything less from Demetri, given that there were 55 people the food was hot freshly cooked on time, there was nothing to pass comment on apart from how much everyone enjoyed the evening. Food, fine wine & a lovely atmosphere were all in abundance."
